Bella*'s Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Bella is a courtesy listing. Here is what her caretaker has to say:Bella is a sweet, spunky and silly American Shorthair cat who came to Pennsylvania all the way from Tennessee as a kitten. She is pretty petite, so she looks a lot younger than she is. Bella is 13 years old and she loves to play, sunbathe, nap and she loves to be outside too! (In an enclosure, as she has no claws and is truly an indoor cat). Unfortunately, with a heavy heart...Due to significant life changes, I have to part ways with my loving, adorable and silly companion. She has lived as a single pet as well as with 1-3 large dogs over her lifetime. She is great with dogs (more so large dogs, she has not had great experiences with small dogs (terrior breeds specifically). She would also be really great as a single pet. Bella does have hyperthyroidism, so she does needs to take medication for this daily. (Currently, she gets a topical medication twice/daily).Adopting from The Cat Shack
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
The first step in adoption is to...
Fill out an on-line application:
House Cat Application | Barn Cat Application
Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home.
