Bella-ab's Story

Bella is one of four kitten siblings that were rescued from a community cat colony that SPOT has now completely TNR’d. This sweet girl is still learning to trust and embrace human care, and will need a family willing to be patient and work with her on this. She already has made great progress over the past couple of weeks, and at her age, we expect her to blossom into a confident, and playful girl in time. We always try to remind adoptees of the 3-3-3 rule when adopting a new animal to their family: it can take 3 days for initial decompression (feeling overwhelmed, hiding), 3 weeks to learn routines and start bonding (personality emerges), and 3 months for feeling truly comfortable and integrated, building trust and security.

Due to her young age, Bella would do best in a home with at least one other young cat or kitten companion. Thus, adoption candidates willing to adopt Bella along with one of her litter-mates (Bello, Beppe, or Bambi), or an applicant with a younger cat in the home will be prioritized.

Bella is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, has tested negative for FIV & FeLV, and has received flea treatment and deworming. Her adoption fee is $175, and we offer a $25 discount on the adoption of a pair of kitties. If you are interested in meeting Bella, please fill out an application at www.savingpetsoneatatime.org.

Thank you for considering a rescued kitten!
