Bella's Story
Meet Bella!

Bella is a sweet and resilient 17-week-old kitten who was rescued after being found all alone in a backyard in Elizabeth, NJ. With no mom or siblings in sight, a kind friend brought her to one of our fosters — and Bella has been safe, loved, and thriving ever since.

This little girl is playful, affectionate, and full of kitten curiosity. She warms up quickly and loves being around people, making her a wonderful companion for anyone looking to add a young cat to their family.

Bella has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV can be transmitted from cat to cat, so for her safety and the safety of other cats, Bella can only be adopted into:

- A home with other FeLV+ cats, or

- A home where she is the only cat (but she does not need to be the only pet — she can live with dogs and other non-feline animals!)

Kittens can sometimes test false-positive, so Bella will be retested in a few weeks. If she tests negative, her placement options may open up — but for now, we must follow FeLV-safe guidelines.

Bella may have had a tough start, but she’s ready for a bright future with someone who will cherish her. If you’re looking for a special kitten with a huge heart, Bella might be your perfect match.

Interested in meeting Bella? Fill out our adoption application — she can’t wait to meet you!
