Bella Extra-Toes Cat / Hemingway Polydactyl Portland, OR

Bella is little but mighty at 3 months old! She is a very special polydactyl kitten (six toes) which gives her special super powers in climbing and balance. She is very curious, brave and extremely loving. She loves to snuggle after playing hard at hide-and-seek or simply chasing her tail or shadow. She was rescued at 7 weeks and quickly adapted to her new foster home. Her foster cat brother was not excited about Bella’s arrival so she entered our rescue. Bella did not shy away from him and was open to a playful relationship. Bella would be lonely unless she would be adopted into a home with another friendly cat so we do require that she go to a home with another cat. She will likely do fine with respectful children and dogs. She seems to shy away from men but with a loving approach she will adapt.

Once your adoption application is approved we will contact you to put you in touch with the foster family to ask any questions, set up an online meeting, or to set up a masked in person meet. If you submit an inquiry instead of an application, this will delay the process and increase the chance someone else will meet YOUR dream cat before you do! If we get an inquiry, we will ask you to fill out an application before we respond to questions.
-The $175 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, de-worming, current flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Unless otherwise noted, they have also had a negative test for FIV and FeLV. Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
