Meet Bella

Bella, formerly Anastasia, was adopted from Paws Animal Shelter about four years ago. She was recently returned and was infested with fleas and had extensive scabbing from flea bites on her. We normally hate to have cats returned, but in this case, we were glad as she was clearly not in a good situation. After being in her own home for so long though, it's been a shock to her finding herself in a shelter with so many other cats. After a few days in a cage in her new room to get used to her new roommates, we opened the cage so she can come and go. She was still shy for the next couple of weeks, but now she's out and about all the time, seeking attention and playing with fishing pole toys!! Any time I sit down in her room she's the first one to come over, climb on my lap, and lay down! She'd be a wonderful addition to just about any family committed to giving her a forever home.
