Bella's Story

Bella is a beautiful cat who is looking for a cat savvy home. Bella can have a bit of a cattitude at times and when she's done cuddling she'll give you a swat and walk away. We find it endearing but she was just returned from an adoption for not being cuddly enough. Bella wants to cuddle and will quickly jump onto an available lap and we think she's mellowed a bit since her arrival. <br/><br/>Bella isn't a fan of the other cats but does tend to stalk new arrivals. She could coexist with the right cat but isn't looking for a feline friend.

Thank you for choosing to adopt an animal! Adoptable Animal Viewing Hours Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Closed all Statutory Holidays To ensure the best for the animals in our care, dog viewing is only available by approved application. If you see a pet you are interested in you can send in an application or email for more info. Applications are available at coquitlam.ca and can be emailed to adoption@coquitlam.ca. All the animals that arrive at the Shelter are stray. The information that we have on the animals has been gathered since their arrival at the Shelter. and with the help of our volunteers. We do our best to assess the animals and disclose everything we know regarding health and temperament to interested adopters We do not adopt outside of BC or ship animals. We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the h?n?q??min??m? word k?ik?????m (kwee-kwuh-tlum) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The City is honoured to be located on the k?ik?????m (Kwikwetlem) traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the sq??c?iy?a?? t?m?x? (Katzie), and other Coast Salish Peoples
