Meet Bella
I’m a Greta Garbo kind of cat. Remember her--the movie sensation of the 1920s and 30s? Like me, she was gorgeous (Bella means beautiful, you know). She had big blue eyes. She hated large crowds, even though they adored her. She didn’t much like people she didn’t know. She preferred to stay near her home. And she was famous for saying “I want to be alone,” though that was actually just a line in a movie.
Garbo actually had a few close friends, and so do I. They are very special people – patient and understanding. They don’t rush me. They don’t invade my personal space. They speak softly and pet me gently. I like cuddling up to them, and when I’m done cuddling, I like to retire to my personal nest, a cozy plush bed where I can hide out and enjoy the peace and quiet. I like basking in sunlight and watching the world through my window.
My ideal home would be one I could share with a quiet lady (or two). She would have a mellow cat (or two), because I like having a cat friend. She would spend a lot of time at home. Come to think of it, she might be a lot like Garbo, though she wouldn’t need to have blue eyes. We would get along famously. However, it’s not my nature to insist. A quiet gentleman with a laid-back cat or dog could give me a good home too. I'm not a party animal, but I would love to be your friend.
