Bella's Story

My name is Bella. My brother Leo and I were born outside as a feral kittens. We spent our first 3 months of life outdoors afraid of humans. We have learned to trust humans, but I am still a little nervous with new people. My brother Leo helps me feel safe and I hope we can be adopted together. In my foster home I liked the other cats in my house. I am picky about my wet food, I love Friskies Ocean White Fish and Tuna and Churus cat puree treats. I eat dry food too. I love soft blankets, if you put a blanket in your arms<br/>and hold me like a baby, I get very comfortable. I love cheek, head and neck scratches. I let my foster Mom kiss my face, it just takes me a little bit to trust new people. I even let my foster Mom clip my nails with no problem. It would be best to start me in a smaller room that I can’t hide under beds or furniture until I get to know and trust you. I can’t wait to get my forever home.

Adopting a pet at Foothills Animal Rescue is a simple process, and we have a dedicated staff of Adoption Counselors to help you through the procedure. How to adopt at FAR: Currently under Covid 19 protocols You can view our pets online and make an appointment to meet them. Get to know our pets. Enjoy our meet and greet room where you can spend individual time to play, pet or just sit with them. Converse with our adoption counselors about our pets, our adoption process and what to expect during the first few days. Some of our pets may need a family or dog introduction before able to adopt based on specific observations made at the sheer environment. Once you've decided to adopt, our pets are able to go home usually that same day. They are already neutered/spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Enjoy your lifetime of unconditional love.
