Bell's Story

Spayed Female
4 Years Old
13 Pounds
$40

Bell is a gorgeous 4-year-old dilute tortie with a soft, unique coat and an equally special personality. In her previous home, Bell was playful, cuddly, and delightfully silly—always ready to enjoy life’s little moments, especially when mealtime was involved! She’s known to be quite the chatterbox when food is on the way, making her both entertaining and endearing.

Since coming to the shelter, Bell has been feeling a bit nervous and shy, preferring to take her time getting comfortable in new surroundings. With a little patience and a loving home, she’s sure to blossom back into the affectionate and fun companion she once was.

Bell gets along well with other cats and would love to be adopted with her sister, Nala, though it’s not required. She’s okay with dogs as long as they give her space, and she does best with older kids who can respect her gentle, cautious nature.

If you’re looking for a sweet, talkative, and playful companion who just needs a little time to shine, Bell might be your perfect match.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.

Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability. If you’d like to show you’re thinking about adopting, please fill out an application on our website under "Adopt" at www.hsomc.org.

Open Adoption Hours:

Tuesday & Wednesday: Noon – 6 pm

Thursday & Friday: Noon – 7 pm

Saturday: Noon – 4 pm

I’m located at the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.

We can’t wait to meet you and help you find your new best friend!
