Beetoeven's Story
Meet Beetoeven 🎹

Beetoeven is a polydactyl tabby with the most magnificent, long fingers—truly worthy of a concert pianist (if only cats expressed their musical talents in ways other than yowling and meowing). He was rescued by my friend Hana from the northeast side of Grand Rapids and came into my care on November 24, 2025. His estimated date of birth is November of 2023.

When Beetoeven arrived, he had clearly been through a rough patch. He was suffering from a painful cat bite wound on his right foreleg that caused significant swelling, along with multiple inflamed nail beds due to a bacterial infection. His ears were loaded with rods and cocci (unpleasant bacteria), and he was heavily infested with fleas. Unfortunately, those tiny pests had caused a notable anemia, so Beetoeven required both internal and external parasite treatment, steroids, and antibiotics to address a flea-borne blood parasite.
Thanks to dedicated care over his first four weeks of rehab, every one of those issues has been resolved. Today, beautiful Beetoeven is healthy, comfortable, and more than ready to start the next chapter of his life.

Beetoeven is a handsome fellow with a perfectly striped tabby coat and those unforgettable big mittens. He’s on the quieter side and enjoys long naps, birdwatching from the window, and playing with toys. He’s doing his best to navigate friendships with his new feline companions and, like any cat settling into a new environment, will stand his ground if he feels bullied or cornered.
He would do well in just about any type of home, and we don’t think it will take long before someone sees how sweet and special he is—and scoops him up for good.
