Beetle Juice “BJ”'s Story

“What a friendly fellow!” is the most frequently uttered phrase by those that meet BJ (including vet staff, family, friends, and kids). A real sweetie pie & gentle soul, this 2 to 3 year old boy ventured out of the woods and eventually took up residence at a family’s cabin. When it became apparent he planned to stay, and no family could be located, BJ was welcomed indoors, and boy did he immediately adapt! Warm cozy beds, consistent meals, dangly toys all tickle his fancy, as does standing on his foster mom’s lap being petted (go figure the stand). He absolutely snuggled across the veterinarians and clinic staff’s chests while being vetted. In spite of being FIV+, PRN is certain this boy can bring much joy to a permanent family. Many FIV+ cats live long healthy lives, either in a single cat household, with other FIV+ feline housemates, and even friendly gentle FIV- cats (FIV is NOT highly contagious to other cats). We would love to provided further information to those that might consider opening their homes to this mild mannered loving chap. The adoption fee for BJ is $125.00 to reimburse PRN for the medical costs to date, which includes a FeLeuk / FIV test, shots to date, deworming, and his nueter. . He is also microchipped and the registration is covered in the adoption fee. If you are interested in adopting please go to our website www.petrescuenetworkstl.com and complete an application.
