Meet Beethoven, or Bay for short. He is a year old boy with a beautiful gray coat. He does have some faint stripes, though, if you catch him in the right light. Beethoven is very people shy and can be a bit reclusive. He was named after the composer Ludwig van Beethoven, who was said to be a bit of a recluse himself. He enjoys playing with toys and other cats, and likes to explore when he’s feeling comfortable. Despite his shyness, Beethoven is easily won over with food and treats. He even gives in to pets and ear scratches while eating. He does not, however, like to be picked up or handled. Beethoven is a great companion cat, and as trust grows, he will get more comfortable with getting cuddles and even belly rubs from his family.
