Bede's Story

Bede was a stray kitten that a local family accepted into their home. But Bede has had a difficult time gaining acceptance from the resident cat due to his rough play and lack of respect for personal space desired by the resident cat. The family made the painful decision to find Bede a new home to restore harmony in their house. We think Bede may actually do well with a playmate similar in age and personality.

While Bede spent the early part of his life outdoor, he has learned to prefer the life style of an indoor cat as he enjoys the comfort of heated beds, bird watching from the windows and the daily servings of breakfast and dinner.

Bede likes to be around people, including strangers, whenever possible and enjoys laps and playtime. He does have a tendency to nip lightly when over stimulated but his love bites are always very gentle
