He is perfect about knowing where he should be using his kitty claws and loves his scratching post so much, he rolls around all over it! FIV is most commonly transmitted through deep bite wounds, which means it is typically spread between unneutered outdoor cats fighting — it is not spread through casual contact like grooming, sharing food bowls, or cuddling. Many FIV-positive cats live peacefully with other friendly cats. With regular veterinary care, a balanced diet, and an indoor lifestyle, cats with FIV can thrive just like any other cat and make wonderful, loving companions.<br/><br/>Binx is FIV+ but is the easiest kitty to introduce to other cats and is a lover, not a fighter. Because FIV is spread through deep bite wounds and Binx can live peacefully with other cats, we do not believe Binx needs to be the only kitty in his furever home. Binx was immediately friendly with the other kitties in his foster home. He loves when they cuddle and play with him and has not had any issues getting along, even when another kitty wanted to steal his food. He is an easygoing gentleman and would thrive in a home with another kitty.<br/><br/>If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate cat who loves pets, lounging, and feline friends, Binx is ready to fill your home with warmth, whiskers, and love.<br/><br/>**This pet is currently being fostered in Corpus Christi, Texas but is available for transport to the destination in which they are listed. We handle all transport logistics and the fee for transport is included in the adoption fee!<br/><br/>Dreaming of Furever Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue that adopts cats and dogs from South Texas to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast. The adoption process consists of an application, reference checks, phone interview, and video chat with the pet and foster parent!<br/><br/>The adoption fee of $250 includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCP and FeLV with boosters), microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, combo test, and flea prevention!<br/><br/>We are volunteers with a passion to reduce the stray population and unnecessary euthanasia in South Texas. According to Shelter Animals Count, an almost 100,000 cats and dogs were euthanized in Texas shelters.
