Franklin, WI
4yo, fully vetted brown spotted bengal.
All Claw. Beautiful soft pelt, ticked with the glitter gene and a beautiful pair of green eyes! Tall, and long... perfect weight at approx 15 lbs.
Beau has acid reflex. He requires medication with this issue. A crushed OTC pill mixed with his wet food twice daily. If not administered, he will regurgitate his food.
He has found to be aggressive with SOME other cats. Would be okay with a well trained dog with a slow introduction. He seems to need a playmate of some sort to avoid boredom. He does NOT like to be locked up alone in a room, but can manage for a short period of time.
He loves his people, while sleeping in your bed, he likes to be touching his humans. He's social with all, good with respectful children. But he is very social, he loves to be his humans when they are home. He does require attention and play everyday.
As with some Bengals, he can get over stimulated and will play rough, a proper eye and a firm no will help avoid issues.
He's chatty when he wants something..... out of a room, attention and food.
Perfect litter habits and is good with claws/furniture if appropriate(tall) cat tree is provided in several places to scratch on.
He can be a counter surfer, but does get down when corrected. He's smart, and will break into cupboard where food as and treats are kept.
UPDATE: we are looking to find a home whose familiar with the breed and their quirks.
On occasion this boy will attack your feet in play while in bed. However, it's less fun and funny when it happens to you. Claws and teeth, and some hard biting. Hell even go under the covers to bite the back of your leg.
No punctures, but has scratched the skin. We do NOT encourage this play. A sharp NO, and pushing him off the bed SOMETIMES breaks the attack. Move your legs away and its really more of a game to him. He can also get growly when you intervene on something he shouldn't be doing (stalking an old cat).
He's a love otherwise, cuddly, beautiful, soft and a big boy.... the IDEAL bengal. He needs a playmate, dog or cat.... one that will want to play chase and play fight.
We are looking for the perfect home that can love and accept him. Where he'll be happy, have a playmate, and not shunned for his occasional aggression. My home is not ideal for him, I have two senior cats. He's okay with a dog if introduced properly, and he great with being picked up and carried. He's also okay kids.
