Beau's Story

Meet the handsome Beau and his marvelous mama, Mamacita!

BEAU and MAMACITA are a sweet mother and son bonded pair looking for a loving home. Beau is white with orange tabby spots, and Mamacita has a beautiful mix of calico and tabby markings. Beau enjoys playing with little toys that he can throw around and chase. Mamacita loves to sit in the window to watch "Cat TV." Both Beau and Mamacita are fond of Churu treats and are affectionate in their own way! Beau delights in snuggling under a blanket on the couch (his fort!). When he is in his fort, Beau loves big heavy pets on the outside of the blanket. He may even invite you to join him in his fort to sit close and give him big loves! Mamacita will come up on the couch to get scratches on her neck and behind her ears and likes gentle, full body pets. One of her other favorite ways to show affection is to nuzzle and rub her face on your toes! Mamacita came to CRAN as a rescue with a litter of kittens, and with Beau, her oldest baby from a previous litter. Both Beau and Mamacita are still a little shy, but some love, patience, and gentle encouragement will go a long way to create a safe space for this adorable duo. What can be more precious than Beau's and Mamcita's eagerness to greet you at the door as one of their own!

Beau and Mamacita have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. The $225 adoption fee (for the pair) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Adopt: How To Adopt Thank you for considering adoption of a homeless companion animal from Cat Rescue & Adoption Network. Our goal is to help you find a cat that suits your household, lifestyle and personality. You should begin by viewing our available homeless companions on this website. All of our cats are located either in one of our adoption centers or a foster home. If you are in the neighborhood, you are more than welcome to drop by one of our adoption centers to view available animals. Our adoption centers are located in both PetSmart stores, and Wags! Dog Emporium. Feel free to call us at 541-225-4955 (option 1 for cats) and leave us your contact information and which specific companion animal or general animal type you are interested in and we’ll arrange to have you meet your potential new friend. The adoption fee includes: - Spay or neuter - Microchip - Cats and kittens are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS FVRCP (upper respiratory/distemper) vaccine - Rabies vaccine - Checked and treated for ear mites if necessary - Free initial vet exam visit (with participating veterinary clinics) CRAN provides superb care for the animals in our shelters and foster homes and makes a reasonable effort to provide healthy companion animals to adopters, but nevertheless, CRAN cannot be responsible for veterinary bills or treatment of an animal after leaving our shelter. If they have not been adopted together after a lengthy period of time, they may be allowed to be adopted separately.
