Beau's Story

Meet Beau, a very cute and sweet young adult male cat! Our Director, Deborah, writes:

“Beau was picked up off the sidewalk in a park by a very caring person because he appeared to be ill or injured. She took him to VEG, our wonderful go-to ER vet in San Ramon, where he was diagnosed with a fever of unknown origin. He was brought to us and we were able to provide supportive care for what was thought to be a virus. Fortunately, Beau did recover, and we subsequently got him neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea medicated and dewormed.

“Beau was born in approximately May 2023. We think he is a dominant male. For that reason, he will probably do best as an only cat or possibly with a confident young female. He is very sweet, and will come up for kisses and enjoys being petted, so we don't want to put him back on the street. He was apparently part of a colony being fed by someone at one point but, not fixed, nor would he likely have gotten any care when he got sick because vet care is so expensive these days.

“We think Beau deserves his own indoors-only loving home. He will probably do well with adults or children over 7 years old. We don't know if he would be okay with dogs, though with proper introductions, as a young boy, he might do fine.

“If you have the space and time for a high energy boy who would love to have your attention to play with and use up some of that young energy, please contact Deborah at 510-909-4961 (text is best!).”

All Angus & Friends cats are healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.
