Bear's Story

Meet Bear!
Bear is a 4-year-old, gorgeous, fluffy black kitty who came to us when his previous owner could no longer care for him. When Bear first arrived, he had significant hair loss. After a veterinary exam, it was determined that he had been over-grooming due to stress.
The good news? With time, care, and a calm environment, Bear’s beautiful fur has grown back in and the over-grooming has lessened. He’s feeling so much better and ready to find his forever home.
Bear is a sweet, gentle soul who just needs a little patience. He can be shy at first and needs time to settle in and build trust with his new family. But once he feels safe, he becomes a very sweet, social, and loving companion who enjoys being near his people.
He does well with dogs and other cats when introduced slowly and properly, and would thrive in a calm, patient adult-only home that understands he may need a little time to blossom.
If you’re looking for a chill, loving companion with a heart of gold, Bear might just be your perfect match.

Apply to adopt Bear:
www.pprct.org
