BB Bobtail's Story

BB, a charming brown-tabby girl with an adorable bobtail, about a year and a half old. BB has survived a very rough start to life, including being dumped on the street by the person who meant the world to her, then struck by a car and suffering a broken leg. While she has a slight residual limp, it does not limit her mobility or quality of life in any meaningful way—she runs, plays, and enjoys life as much as any other cat. Most of all, BB is an absolute sweetheart: affectionate, loving, and a nonstop purring machine who clearly adores human companionship. We have not yet observed her with kids, dogs or other cats, but we think she's likely to get along with them if introduced properly. We can certainly give you pointers on how to do that. Like nearly all cats, Elsa would do best adopted into an interactive home where she will get lots of playtime and not be left unaccompanied for long hours. BB is ready to leave her hard past behind and settle into a safe, caring home where her gentle nature can truly shine. BB is an easy cat, suitable for a first-time adopter.

BB has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. Her adopter will receive her medical records. She’s being fostered in Boston's Fenway area. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. Cats can live up to 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps us match cats with the right adopters.
