Bayou's Story

Bayou was rescued last year from a parking lot , he was starving and unwell. He turned out to be positive for Feline Leukemia. He is not actively sick and has gained a lot of weight and is really healthy. There is a lot of misunderstanding about this illness, if treated properly ( which is not hard) cats can live a long time. He is so sweet and affectionate and needs a home where it’s just him and he can live out his life. I am willing to guide a potential adopter about his care and for life and educate them. He deserves a chance to be loved and have a forever home just as much as the others!

By The Light Of The Moon Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Potential adopters can come visit with cats or kittens. If children are in the potential adopters home, they must learn to handle the cat properly. The required adoption fee is 75 dollars. For bonded pairs that are adopted out together, it is 125. If your new pet isn't suitable for your home, you can always bring them back no matter if it’s 10 days or 10 years from when you adopt them. However, there are no refunds for the adoption fee after 7 days. Cats are not sent to their new home until fixed and given a clean bill of health. If the potential adopter is under 18, the parent's consent is needed.
