Baxter is around a year and a half old. He's a quiet guy who would do best in a low stress household. He's a little timid and shy, but he does enjoy being loved on. He is in our community cat room and does well with other cats. He would probably do best in a home with another cat. Ogemaw County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

-Cats are same day adoptions. -Dogs are NOT same day adoptions. -We require home visits with the dogs. This means you take the dog home for about a week to ensure that dog is a good fit for your life. Adoptions can be finalized after the home visit is complete. We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
