Basil's Story

Basil was being cared for by gentlemen in his 90's and was doing his best with what he had. He was rescued when He was 6 weeks old and had a rough start. He was infected with fleas and worms and was sick very sick.<br/><br/>He is now thriving, loves food, is very independent and loves to play.<br/><br/>*basil will be available for to go home for adoption after he is fixed

1. Potential adopters fill out an application 2. Schedule a meet and greet 3. If it's a good fit we will proceed with the adoption agreement *we do NOT offer first-come, first-serve, it is based on what is a good fit for the animal we highly recommend a foster-to-adopt program ALL animals will not be able to go home until they are spayed/neutered.

My Five Strays is an independent volunteer based, donation dependent, foster & rescue located in Honolulu, Hawaii. We believe that Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) is a part of the solution to manage and maintain the overpopulation of feral cats in the community.
