Basil's Story

Meet Basil.

Basil is an 11-month-old kitten who was found in an abandoned house in San Juan, Puerto Rico who is currently in foster in Portland, Oregon. She has an ear tip from a trap-neuter-release program, but she was so sweet her foster couldn’t bring herself to release her — so now we’re helping Basil find the loving home she deserves. She's currently in foster

She’s spayed, fully vaccinated. Basil lives for playtime and a good sunspot. She’s shy around new people and places, but once she settles in, her sweet personality comes out — and she’ll happily tell you all about her day. She’d do great with another cat or as a solo pet, as long as she gets attention and playtime.

If you're interested in adopting Basil, please fill out an adoption application on our website PRDF.org and follow us on instagram @thepuertoricodogfund to see more of the work we do!
