Bart's Story
Meet Bart, a handsome, all black, snuggly tomcat. He is approximately 3 years old.

Bart was trapped at a feral colony feeding station in South Seattle and, while awaiting his surgery, showed some serious potential for socialization. After less than a month indoors, he is now a true, bonafide lap cat. He adores being brushed and receiving head and chin scratches. He loves it so much that he’ll sometimes start drooling. His favorite thing to do is to spend time with his humans and will gladly sit on your lap for hours while working on the computer or sitting on the couch.

Bart is a big boy weighing in at just over 14 pounds - and that’s all muscle. He also is very chatty and will loudly meow for attention or just to say hey. His future family should be comfortable with a vocal cat. He loves catnip and chasing catnip toys as well as bird watching out the window. At the end of the day, though, all he really wants is someone to dote on him and shower him with the love and attention he so deserves.

What Bart’s looking for in a home:

-He’s new to indoor life with humans, so he needs a kind and patient guide to help him continue adjusting.
-He feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
-He needs to live indoors only.
-He prefers to be the only pet in the house.
-He has no known history with children but is very friendly with strangers and will likely get along with older, respectful children.
-He needs to mostly eat wet food (fish flavors are his favorite) to ensure he drinks enough water.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Thank you for your interest in adopting Bart!
