Bart's Story
Meet Bart! This handsome older gentleman is 9 years old. He came to us after his owner became ill and could no longer care for him properly. After nine years, his whole life has been turned upside down. The only family he ever knew, and the only life he has ever known is gone.

Yet he has taken it all in stride. Suddenly he is in a new place, without his family, without his dog sibling, and without his familiar routines. But he continues to purr. To make biscuits. To ask for pets. To play. To snuggle. To love.

He is such a good boy. He is the master of snuggles, loves being next to you or near you, and definitely is a lap cat. He loves tummy rubs and his favorite move is to flop over so you can get in there and give them to him! He is such a love bug. He isn't super talkative in general, but gets a little chatty at dinner time, especially if you are running late!

He used to live with a dog, so we assume he will be okay with them. We are not sure if he likes living with other cats. He doesn't seem to mind watching the cats outside through the window. He has not been around children, but he is pretty easy going and would probably do well with calm children who respect his boundaries.

We sincerely hope if you have read this far that you may be willing to give this sweet old man a chance at a forever home. It's easy to pass up the older cats for the sweet cuddly kittens. But kittens are a lot of work. Bart is ready to go, low maintenance, with no surprises or late night zoomies across your head.

Bart is neutered, vaccinated, triple tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
