Barrel's Story

8 month old Barrel came to us as a tiny feral kitten, and while his two siblings eventually were tamed to become friendly, outgoing cats (though it took them a while to come around), Barrel remains a shy, unsure fella. He is not mean in any way, but just very timid and needs a quiet home with a patient owner (and definitely a social kitty friend or two to show him the ropes). We think he'd thrive in a household where someone is home often so he gets used to human company, but truly, he isn't picky and just wants a safe, calm environment to settle into. If you have the love, time and patience, we think Barrel could really bond strongly with someone who will interact regularly with him and spoil him with toys and treats. He has been raised with an unrelated kitten named Royal, who would be an excellent buddy for him if you are seeking two cats, as she is the more outgoing one and he feels comforted when she's around.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>This pet is altered (spayed/neutered), up to date on age appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed and microchipped.
