Barracuda's Story
Barracuda is looking for a loving foster home to relax in while they are recovering.

Reason for Foster: Ringworm

Foster Time Frame: 2-3 Weeks
(The foster time frame could be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.)

Foster Care Plan: Barracuda is being treated for ringworm which is a common fungal skin infection. This can be contagious, so it is recommended that they be kept in a room away from other pets. Be sure to wash your hands and change clothes after interacting with them. A room without upholstered furniture or carpet is ideal.

Barracuda will need regular lime sulfur dips and will go to foster with antifungal medication. We will provide a medical consultation at your pickup to ensure you are prepared to take great care of this little one.

Visit this link to learn more about fostering a pet with ringworm: https://operation-kindness-foster.my.canva.site/ringworm-foster-guide

Foster to Adopt Program: Barracuda is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
