Barney *MUST BE ADOPTED WITH FRED*'s Story
Meet Barney! Barney is a very sweet and curious boy who will adjust to his new home in no time. Barney is the more outgoing compared to his brother Fred and will likely be the first to explore and sniff his new surroundings to make himself comfortable.

Barney needs more playtime than his brother Fred and likes to be stimulated by running after lightweight toys, chasing laser toys, and watching cat tv on Youtube with his brother Fred. His current foster puts videos of birds and mice on the big screen tv, and Barney eagerly runs to watch from below the screen and then paw at the screen while standing up. Barney likes pouncing on people's feet under a blanket (usually at bedtime), so his nails will need to be kept trimmed. One of Barney's cute moves is to stand on his two feet, meow, and rub up against his foster mom while his wet food is prepared at dinner time. Barney is starting to sleep on his foster's bed at nighttime and loves to greet people as they come home.

Barney enjoys chewing on houseplants and will try to eat food left out on counters like oil (for example, leftover oil from cooking eggs) and pasta. Plants will need to be kept out of reach for this guy. He has impeccable litter box habits! Given his brother Fred needs a prescription urinary diet, Barney is on the same meal plan.

Barney and his brother Fred are closely bonded and need to be kept together - they love sleeping together in their cat tower, grooming each other, and play-fighting. Fred and Barney will likely do best as the only two cats in the household.

Like all ACR cats, Barney is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
