Barney & Bindi (Millington, TN)

Barney and Bindi are a bonded pair with a story that proves just how much love can grow with patience and time.<br/><br/>Barney is a large grey and white male, and Bindi is a stunning tortoiseshell. They originally came into our program through a TNR (trap-neuter-return) effort and were believed to be feral. Unfortunately, they couldn’t be released back to their original location due to safety concerns, so we placed them in our large shelter area where our dogs are housed.<br/><br/>Over time, something incredible happened. As they began to feel safe and comfortable, it became clear that these two weren’t feral at all. They are both affectionate, social, and clearly bonded to each other. While they still prefer not to be picked up, they enjoy being petted and seek out attention from people they trust.<br/><br/>Barney and Bindi are safe, well-fed, and doing well in our care—but we know they deserve so much more. A home. A family. A quiet space where they can truly relax and be loved.<br/><br/>You can meet these two at our rescue center in Millington, TN.
