Barney's Story

Barney is a super handsome boy. He's about a year old. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and FIV/FeLV tested negative. He is very shy. He would do best in a low stress household! It may take some extra time for him to open up and feel comfortable. He did come in with other cats, but he doesn't feel confident enough yet to come out and socialize. Ogemaw County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

-Cats are same day adoptions. -Dogs are NOT same day adoptions. -We require home visits with the dogs. This means you take the dog home for about a week to ensure that dog is a good fit for your life. Adoptions can be finalized after the home visit is complete. We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
