Barn Cats's Story

Looking for Barn Cats?

Our Trap-Neuter-Return Program is seeking to relocate several colonies of feral cats whose homes are disappearing due to sale of the properties and/or real estate development. The cats need to be moved SOON and we are looking for outdoor homes such as farms or rural residences with barns or horse stables.

The cats are fully vetted (spayed/neutered, eartipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, dewormed.) They will gladly provide mousing services but we do want caretakers who will provide daily food, water, and shelter from the elements. To get them acclimated to their new homes, the cats will need to be crated for about 2 weeks. We provide the crates and will transport the cats.

These cats come from large cat families and we would like to relocate them in groups of no fewer than 3-4. If you -- or someone you know -- would be willing to take 3 or more barn cats, please contact
barncats@mcspca.org.
