Banjo's Story

Hello, I'm Banjo! I love finding cozy corners where I can watch the world quietly. I might seem a bit shy at first, but give me a little time, and I'll show you my sweet and gentle side. I cherish my independence, yet I never say no to a calm lap where I can nap. If you're looking for a serene companion who respects your space but also offers affection, I'm your perfect match. Let's make our days brighter together. Why not come by and meet me? I'm ready to start our journey together.

Note from Paws humans: Banjo was found at the home of a Paws volunteer. He thought this kitten was just too friendly to leave outside fending for himself, so he brought him to Paws to find his forever home. He gets along very well with his roommates, and he's adjusting to the shelter. To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt.

Paws Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

We do not do same-day adoptions, as we have an adoption application which must be completed and verified. We do not allow declawing of any of our animals even after they are adopted, and you must sign a contract agreeing to this (we sometimes take cats in who have already been declawed). We also require that all of the cats and kittens adopted from us must be kept exclusively indoors.
