Bandit2 American Shorthair Rochester, NY

Bandit is about 11-12 months old. She is friendly, playful, loves being loved on. She is happy to sleep on your lap while you are watching TV or reading. Bandit is always the one getting into mischief. Her foster Mom has a box of old jewelry she was doing a craft project with and for 3 mornings she magically found bracelets and miscellaneous jewelry laid on the floor by her bed like she was receiving gifts! Bandit loves to talk and trill especially when she's watching the birds. She absolutely loves to wrestle & chase her sister Coco. They play together several times a day running up and down three flights of stairs chasing each other. Bandit and her sister Coco are a bonded pair and should be adopted together.

There are so many cats that are stray, lost or (sadly) thrown away by their owners and left on the streets to fend for themselves trying to find food and a warm, dry place to sleep. Janine Wagner, of Janine The Bean Rescue, is a one-woman savior to these cats!

She goes out every morning at 4am, 365 days a year in rain, snow & sleet in the Beechwood section of Rochester, NY to provide shelters and feed at 18 different locations, totaling nearly 100 cats. Plus, she TNR's (traps, neuters & returns) many of them to prevent overpopulation -- some of those cats that she traps, she tries to foster and get them adopted into forever homes and off the streets.
