Banana's Story
Banana is a sweet shy boy who loves to be pet, but needs a slow and gentle approach. When he first arrived, Banana was very anxious but he has grown more confident and his true sweet personality has come out. He is very playful and loves pets and treats.

Banana has been around a lot of other cats and would likely do well in a home with feline friends with a proper, slow introduction. Banana came to us from a home with multiple cats and kittens that became too much for their owner to properly care for, over 50 of them! he has a lovely personality and enjoys affection but didn't get exposed to a lot in his previous home so may get easily startled by sudden movements and loud noises. Because of that we would suggest he be indoor only which is what he's used to. A quiet home without young children would also probably be the best fit for Banana, though older, cat savvy kids may be fine with time to adjust. This funny little sweetheart will make a wonderful companion in the right home. Could you be his purr-fect match?

An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.

Do you think Banana could be the boy for you? Submit an online application https://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-kamloops and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!

Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their interest.
