Hi! I am Ballie, a sweet and shy 3 year old girl. I am bonded to my best friend Astra who helps me be more outgoing. I have really come out of my shell since I have been at OARS and I am realizing people can be nice. Unfortunately I was previously mistreated so I take a little time to warm up. I was surrendered to another shelter to be euthanized and luckily OARS was able to take Astra and I instead. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI<br/><br/>The adoption fee for one cat is $50. Adopt two adult cats on 'the buddy system' for only $75. Please note that we can only accept cash or checks, no credit cards.<br/><br/>All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper and have had de-wormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Cats live in community rooms and they are able to watch bird feeder activity and nap in a favorite sunny spot. <br/><br/>We partner with other rescues and shelters when bringing pets to our rescue. We do not accept cats from the public. This approach allows us to help organizations near capacity or those with a special kitty that may need more attention. We are completely donation supported.
