Balila, the Calmest Sweetest Calico Girl's Story
Hey there, I'm Balila, it means chickpea in Arabic. My story is one to tell. I was run over by a car in Amman, Jordan, and left on the street. My legs had received a bad blow and I couldn't move. A kind person saw me struggling and picked me up and took me to the vet. My situation wasn't good, I needed surgery in my hip and one of my right leg was paralyzed. I did my surgery a few days after arriving at the clinic. I had to stay in cage rest for a few weeks to heal. But I was well taken care of, eating nutritious food and receiving lots of love and care. I slowly started regaining movement in my paralyzed leg, and now I can walk and jump and sit on everyone's lap. I just have the slightest curled toes on my right foot, which makes me all the more special.

I am a very calm and sweet cat. I just want to relax and snuggle. I am good with other cats as long as they don't bother me.

I am very ready to settle in my forever home. Could that be with you?
