Bali (bonded with Bubba)'s Story

Meet Bali & Bubba — a bonded duo with a quiet, beautiful love story.

Bali and Bubba were rescued and fostered together, and their bond has grown into something truly special. They rely on one another for comfort, confidence, and companionship, and must be adopted together into a calm, loving home.

Bali is a gentle, dignified lady who blossoms with the reassurance of her bonded companion, Bubba. His presence helps her feel safe and at ease as she continues to build trust with people. With her magnificent fluffy coat and serene presence, Bali doesn’t ask for much — soft blankets, a cozy window view, and her best friend by her side make her perfectly content. She enjoys peaceful moments spent watching the world go by, but don’t be fooled — she still loves a good play session and will happily chase a wand toy when the mood strikes.

Bali is the definition of low-maintenance elegance. She has impeccable litter box manners, uses her scratching posts like a pro, and treats furniture with respect. She keeps her coat well-groomed and is happy to be brushed. Gentle pets and scratches at the base of her tail earn you soft purrs and quiet appreciation. Though shy at first, once she feels safe — with Bubba nearby — her affection is deeply rewarding.

Bali’s early life wasn’t easy. Found abandoned outdoors, she likely missed out on early socialization. While she has adjusted beautifully to indoor life, sudden movements and loud noises can still startle her. A calm home, soft voices, patience, and the steady presence of Bubba will help her continue to settle and truly shine.

Together, Bali and Bubba are a beautiful balance of calm and playful, quiet and curious.

They are patiently waiting for a forever home where they can stay together and finally feel safe.

Would you like to make Bali and Bubba part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
