Bailey's Story

Hello World, meet Bailey!

This little beauty with the awesome markings and big yellow eyes has had a pretty rough journey to get to us at Salty Paws. She was found living under a trailer home with some other cats at a feeding site on the island. She was always so excited when she saw her feeders and vastly preferred attention over food.

Bailey is a wonderful, gentle and loving cat just very scared and unsure what is expected of her at the moment. She shows zero signs of aggression, but looks at you with soft eyes hoping you will treat her kindly. Once she knows you are a safe and kind person, she is REALLY affectionate. So much so that we think she would make a great companion for the kinds of humans who like to hang at home watching television, reading or activities where one would enjoy a cat fixture on their lap.

Bailey will need a little time to adjust to her new home, but she is so worth it. She seems to get along great with all other cats, but she is on the submissive and quiet side and seems to be drawn more to people than cats.

We just love this little angel and hope someone will take a chance on her. If you are interested in adopting Bailey, kindly fill out our required application, which can be found here:

https://form.jotform.com/253063262987161

For the safety of our animals, home checks are a requirement of adoption, but we make this as unobtrusive and convenient as possible.

THANK YOU for considering a rescue cat!
