BAILEY's Story

Bailey is a PERFECT boy! He is an absolute sweetheart, he is so pure he enjoys cuddling any time his foster mom wants cuddles! He is always down, but he's also down to do his own thing! He loves people and bird watching through the windows, especially if they're a high vantage point. He is silly and loves to race humans up and down the stairs - it's his favorite game to play. He's the definition of easy going - he is truly special! He is FIV+, but don't let that acronym scare you - he roams, plays, and naps just like any other cat! It simply means he needs to stay indoors and may require a bit of extra immune support as he ages. If you're looking for a sweet, independent-yet-affectionate companion, Bailey is 100% worth the investment. He has not been dog tested, but he is calm and collected and I suspect he would do well with dogs - dogs that are also good with cats that is!

He's a professional sun-seeker and world-class snuggler. If there's a sunbeam on the floor or a soft spot on the couch, that's where you'll find him. His favorite pastime is "window-watching" from a high vantage point, keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood like a fluffy little gargoyle.
While he appreciates his independence, Bailey is a total softie at heart—once you start the cuddles, he never wants them to end.

He's litter box trained, he's not destructive, he's very quiet except for when he's settling into a new environment.

FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, healthy lives with regular vet care and an indoor lifestyle. The virus is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds — not through cuddling, sharing bowls, grooming, or peacefully living together. Many FIV+ cats coexist safely with other friendly cats for years.Sadly, cats like Bailey are often overlooked simply because people misunderstand FIV. But his diagnosis does NOT define him. His is an affectionate, social, cuddly, and so deserving of a loving forever home.
