Bailey's Story

Dear, sweet Bailey! Came into rescue from a small colony with Barnum, her littermate. Bailey is smart, curious, and independent. Bailey will be a smaller cat with dense fur that is mink-soft. She gets along with the older cats and frequently starts up games for all to play! Bailey is a boomerang; she was placed in a home and due to no failing on her part, the placement didn’t work out, so she came back. So Bailey restarts her waiting clock; she isn’t seeking perfection, but she wants her own home. A quiet spot, with another cat or maybe a small cat-friendly dog would suit her needs. Her independence may be a turn-off, but if the right person is willing to give her a chance to warmup slowly, she will blossom! Bailey isn’t flashy, but she is a darn fine companion and she is waiting. Give it some thought, we know these things take time and we will wait with Bailey. Everett Animal Welfare Group's Adoption Policy

We are so happy you have chosen to adopt one of our rescued kittens or cats. All of our kittens and cats came to us either through our Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program or rescued from feral cat colonies in our community in the Pensacola, Florida and surrounding area. All of our adoptable cats and kittens are litterbox trained and are socialized by our caring volunteers in loving foster homes. Adoption Fees Our adoption fees are a minimum donation of $90 for cats and kittens unless otherwise noted and $100 for dogs and puppies unless otherwise noted. While we strive to minimize adoption fees for all of the animals we help, our actual out-of-pocket expenses can average between $100 and $200 per animal as often times there are unforeseen health needs, x-rays, antibiotics, or treatments needed to prepare each animal for adoption. Our adoption fee includes: - Spay/Neuter surgery for unsterilized pets - Up-to-date vaccinations - Microchip - Dewormed - Deflead - FeLV test (negative) for cats - Heartworm test for dogs (preventative or treatment)
