Bailey's Story

Bailey and her brother Banjo are shy siblings looking for a quiet home with patient owners that are willing to slowly build their trust. Bailey is very timid but is open to gentle petting. She became especially attached to a senior cat in the foster home and may feel most comfortable in a similar situation.

Weatherford Whiskers's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters are invited to come in and see the cats during open office hours. Browse the rooms and see what we have and what you think will fit you and your family. Adoption forms are online. Once filled out and sent in they are then reviewed by a committee. If approved, then the entire family is asked to come see the cat(s) that they are wanting to adopt so that the staff can observe that the entire family is committed to this adoption. Then formal paperwork is signed and the process is complete. Can take up to 2 weeks for this process to occur.

Weatherford Whiskers is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue group. Our cage free facility has 5 rooms of free roaming cats with access to a catio for safe outdoor enrichment in 3 of the rooms. We rescue high risk cats and kittens from our local shelters.
