The finder, who lives at the foot of the landfill, discovered that mama cat had given birth to her kittens right in his backyard. Although the finder originally planned to foster, the situation quickly became overwhelming. Tragically, two of the kittens passed away shortly after rescue. At first, fading kitten syndrome was suspected, but when little Baguette began showing symptoms, she was diagnosed with Hemotropic Mycoplasmosis. Thanks to a successful treatment protocol and lots of dedicated care, Baguette made a full recovery and is now a healthy, thriving kitten.
