He is shy at first but once he knows he is safe and loved, he will quickly become your best bud. Bagheera is a sweet funny quirky little guy who is always happy to see you. He loves to have your attention and when he sees you coming, will jump up on one of his perches and stand on his head so you can scratch his bum; then he gives headbutts and kisses. He will follow you around and politely sit and watch what you are up to. If you don’t have time to love on him, he will find a place to sit and watch everything that is going on outside, especially the birds and squirrels. He is a good little shadow and will make a great little companion.<br/>Bagheera was severely bullied by other cats in his previous home. He has been with his foster Mom for about 6 months and has come A LONG way. When he first came to her home, he hid in his giant kitty tent for a month, coming out to eat and use his litter box. He would allow his foster Mom to reach in and scratch his ears and butt and feed him special treats, but it took a month before he started coming out to get love, scratches, and treats. Within the next month he was out and about, getting his love and giving headbutts and kisses. Since he didn’t need to hide anymore, he smushed his kitty tent and started using it as a bed. Even though he doesn’t need the safety of his tent anymore, he still loves to snuggle in and under his blankets.<br/>Bagheera will do best in a mature home as an only cat (no other cats or dogs). He will do best in a home where he gets lots of attention and is not left alone for long periods of time. He would love it if his owner worked from home or was retired. Bagheera has been through a lot, and it is time for him to find his FOREVER loving home with someone who will give him the love, attention, patience, and the time he needs to blossom into his beautiful loving self.<br/>Bagheera was born approximately March 7, 2020, and his adoption fee is $105, which includes $20 for a microchip. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia. Come see this sweetheart at our adoption center this weekend!<br/><br/>You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend.
