Bagel Bite's Story

Hi, I'm Bagel--and yes, I am as soft, silly, and satisfying as my name implies.

I was born June 19th, 2023, and I've been in foster care since I was just a tiny kitten. Thanks to lots of love and patience, I've grown into a joyful, quirky little guy with a happy heart and the spirit of a pogo stick.

I'm developmentally delayed and visually impaired (but not blind!), but I've learned so much along the way--like how to play with toys, zoom through the house with confidence, and even drink from a water bowl without hesitation. I've even figured out the litter box pretty well! I almost always poop in it (go me!) but sometimes if I'm startled (even by myself) I might miss just a little, but it's always nearby and on an easy-to-clean surface.

I love other kittens and gentle humans. My favorite things? Puffy beds to make biscuits in, chin rubs, face scritches, and making my foster mom laugh with my happy little trills. I may be small for my age, but I'm huge on personality.

Wet food is basically the key to my heart--and if you've got that, patience in your heart and a soft place to land, I'd love to be your best friend.

Apply to adopt at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptionsTo inquire about adopting this cat please complete an adoption application at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions

San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition's Adoption Policy
Although our primary mission is to work on feral cat issues, we devote considerable time to adopting out TAME kittens and adult cats. In order to better manage the feral cat population, friendly cats and kittens are removed from the streets, placed with fosters, and spay/neutered before placing them up for adoption. Young kittens born to feral cats are ideally left with their mom until they are ready for weaning. They are then placed in a foster home, socialized, and spayed/neutered prior to being put up for adoption. Our rescued tame cats are all privately fostered in homes throughout the San Antonio metro area.
