He loves playing with Otter, and her confidence has helped him feel more comfortable in his foster home. Badger would love to find his forever home with his sister. <br/><br/>Badger is a little more cautious than his sister when meeting new people. He may hang back at first and take some time to decide that you're someone he can trust. But underneath that initial shyness is a very sweet boy who really does want affection.<br/><br/>Give Badger some patience, a little time, and the opportunity to build his confidence, and you'll start to see him come out of his shell. Once he feels safe and trusts you, he'll happily accept pets and show you the softer side of his personality.<br/><br/>And then there are the kicker toys.<br/><br/>Badger is absolutely obsessed with them. Hand him a kicker toy and prepare to watch him go to work for hours. He also has a particularly enthusiastic relationship with Churu treats. In fact, "enthusiastic" might be an understatement. Badger would like everyone to know that there is no such thing as eating a Churu too quickly. If given the opportunity, he will attempt to inhale it before anyone can change their mind.<br/><br/>Otter's confidence has been especially helpful for Badger, and having his sister nearby can give him the extra reassurance he needs to be brave. Watching him gradually become more comfortable, venture out, and eventually ask for pets and attention is incredibly rewarding.<br/><br/>Badger is looking for someone who understands that the best friendships sometimes take a little time to build. He doesn't need you to rush him or expect him to be instantly outgoing.
