Bacon's Story
Meet Bacon!

100 percent certified lap cat

Bacon and his sister, Eggs, were dumped in a carrier and ended up at a local shelter. They didn't get any interest from adopters, so the shelter reached out to rescues to see if someone would take them. We have a soft spot for wobbly kitties, so we snatched them up!

Bacon has suspected cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which means he's a wobbly boy. CH is a condition where the cerebellum, a part of the brain responsible for coordination, balance, and movement, is underdeveloped. It isn't painful or progressive, and Bacon does all normal kitty activities--just with a bit of wobbling (same for his sister, Eggs, although her is slightly more severe).

Bacon loves to snuggle in his foster mom's lap while she's at her desk working. He loves crunchies and will love you forever if you share a churu every now and then. He's not so sure about other kitties, but he LOVES his sister.

We would love for Bacon and Eggs to be adopted together. They are very bonded and seem to feel safe with one another.

All Saving Stevie kitties are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, combo tested, and microchipped. Priority will be given to adopters with a young cat in the home or who are looking to adopt two kitties together.

If you're interested in meeting this cutie, apply at our website at savingstevie.com/adoption-application.
