Baby Jane Doe's Story

Meet Baby Jane Doe – A Brave Little Beauty Learning to Love

Baby Jane Doe is a stunning five-month-old long-haired tuxedo girl with the softest fur and the sweetest, most delicate little face. She’s also the sister of Sir Duncan the Tall, and while her journey has been a bit more cautious, it’s been just as inspiring to watch.

After a difficult start in a hoarding situation, Baby Jane needed time to learn that the world — and the people in it — could be safe. With patience and love in her foster home, this gentle girl has been making the most heartwarming progress. One of her biggest recent milestones? Making her very first batch of air biscuits! Now she happily sits beside her foster human, jumps up to be petted, and has begun to discover the magic of the purr, just like her brother.

What makes Baby Jane so special is how clear it is that she wants to love and be loved. She likes to stay in the same room as her people and will often follow her foster around the house, quietly keeping them company. Each day she grows a little braver, showing more of the sweet, affectionate girl that’s been waiting to shine.

Baby Jane can still be a bit skittish with new people and unfamiliar situations, so she would do best in a quieter home with patient adopters who will allow her to build trust at her own pace. Because sudden noise and lots of activity can overwhelm her, a household without young children would help her feel most secure. She does enjoy the company of other animals and gets along well with both cats and dogs.

While she may still get nervous if she feels trapped or handled too firmly, Baby Jane has one secret weakness that can overcome almost any fear: Churu treats! With a little patience, encouragement, and the occasional tasty reward, she continues to make wonderful progress.

Her foster family has already seen incredible growth in this brave little girl, and it’s clear that with the right family — one that understands her past and celebrates her small victories — Baby Jane will blossom into an incredibly loving companion.

If you have a gentle heart, a calm home, and the patience to help a shy kitten grow into her confidence, Baby Jane Doe is ready to find the forever family who will help her continue her beautiful journey.

Her adoption fee is $180.
