Baby Girl's Story

Baby Girl is a very sweet 10-year-old calico who found herself in a shelter, along with her kitty housemate, Bubba. Although nervous in the shelter environment, she was always gentle and rewarded pets and attention with head butts and purrs. Baby Girl and Bubba have been together since they were kittens but they aren't bonded and do not need to be adopted together. Baby Girl is very sweet and playful and would love to find her permanent home. She is currently in a foster home in Indian Trail, NC.

Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Adopters download and complete an adoption application from our website and email it back to info@lapsandnaps.org. After reviewing the application, either the director or the animal care coordinator calls the potential adopter and conducts a phone interview. A home visit is sometimes conducted and, if the adopter is approved, arrangements are made for the adopter to meet the cat (s)he is interested in adopting. If it's a good match, the adopter pays the adoption fee, signs an adoption contract, and the cat goes to its new home.
