Humane Society of Delaware County's Adoption Policy
We are currently operating by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting a new pet, please visit our website at https://www.hsdcohio.org/adoptable to complete an application. Once it is processed, one of our staff members will give you a call to discuss the animal you are interested in meeting. If it is decided the animal is a good match, an appointment will be scheduled at that time. Staff try to make the best match possible for both the animal and the adopter.
An individual must be at least 18 years old and reside within the state of Ohio. As an adopter, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and any leasing restrictions, if appropriate.
