Baby Billy's Story

From Baby Billy's foster:

Baby Billy is an 8-10 month old male Tabby with a lot of love to give! This little guy is unbelievably sweet and affectionate.

Billy showed up in our backyard at the beginning of the summer. Hanging at our back door, meowing for our attention, he quickly made it known he wants the good life indoors! Hoping to make him part of our pack we scooped him up and got him to our vet for his vaccinations and bloodwork. Unfortunately we discovered Billy was testing FAINTLY positive for FeLV, feline leukemia. FeLV is highly transmissible amongst cats, so we weren’t able to bring Billy into our home with our other cat babies. There is a chance Billy may be transiently infected and could test negative for the virus in a few months. Until then Billy is living in our screened-in porch where he can stay safe and sound. But with the winter and cold weather approaching we need to find this sweet little boy a home.

The ideal home for Billy would be one where he is the only cat or he can live with a cat friendly dog. He would also need to stay indoors due to the FeLV. Baby Billy’s a flirt and a very social kitty who would love to have someone to hang with throughout the day, so if you work from home or are retired Billy’s your boy!
We’re also open to having someone foster Billy over the winter while we wait for him to be retested in January ‘26.

Billy’s been neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, litter trained, and 100% too cute. Contact us if you think you could be a home for this baby!

For more information or to adopt, please contact Baby Billy's foster Jesse at (423) 364-1927 or email
jessedwightwilliams333@gmail.com

Thank you!
